What rebates are available?

Private Health Insurance

Fees may be claimed back through your private health insurance depending on your level of cover. It is recommended that you contact your fund to discuss your current situation.

Chronic Disease Management Plan (formerly the Enhanced Primary Care Plan)

Children with complex and ongoing needs may be eligible for five Medicare funded sessions under the Chronic Disease Management Plan. This program is only for children who have chronic care needs and is initiated by your General Practitioner. National Insurance Disability Scheme (NDIS)

We see NDIS funded families who are self-managed or managed by preferred third party organisations. We keep our hourly rate according to the current NDIS rates. Please see this link for information: https://www.ndis.gov.au/providers/pricing-arrangements

Do I need a Referral?

You do not need a referral to see a Speech Pathologist unless you are accessing funding from Medicare or using one of the government initiatives such as the “Better Start” and “Helping Children with Autism” packages.
